About the Role 

We are looking for a skilled Databricks Engineer to join our growing data team. In this role, you will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions on Databricks.

You will partner with Engineers, data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-performance data solutions that drive business value. 

What You’ll Do 

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake. 

• Design and implement scalable data Lakehouse solutions in the cloud. 

• Ingest, transform, and integrate data from multiple structured and unstructured sources. 

• Manage and optimize Databricks clusters, jobs, and workflows. 

• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across data pipelines. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable advanced analytics and machine learning use cases. 

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data pipeline performance. 

• Contribute to automation, CI/CD, and DevOps best practices. 

What We’re Looking For 

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Databricks. 

• Proficiency in PySpark, SQL, and distributed data processing. 

• Strong knowledge of Delta Lake and data Lakehouse architectures. 

• Experience working with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP). 

• Familiarity with streaming data technologies (Kafka, Event Hubs, Kinesis, etc.). 

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps). 

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. 

Nice to Have 

• Experience with MLflow and MLOps practices. 

• Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. 

• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation). 

• Background in data migration projects from on-prem to cloud environments.
